I’m a Texas-licensed aesthetician, former spa owner, and the R&D behind the brand. I opened my clinical aesthetics practice in Houston in 2013, where I integrated laser treatments with skincare products up until the COVID pandemic, when I transitioned fully into cosmetic manufacturing and the advancement of Beleza by Z.
Over the years, I kept seeing the same pattern. Most skincare lines were built around more actives, botanical complexity, and treatment-driven formulas—but not around the needs of barrier-impaired, reactive skin, which is where a large percentage of real clients actually live.
My interest in barrier repair wasn’t theoretical. I struggled with eczema and psoriasis and reached a point where I couldn’t tolerate even the most “gentle” skincare, including the organic product lines I was retailing in my clinic.
Around that time, I was also working on lowering inflammation systemically through diet, sun exposure, and fasting protocols. That led me deeper into studying biochemistry and corneotherapy, and that research pushed me to begin developing professional-grade formulations using purified beef tallow within a lipid system designed to mirror the structure of human skin.

BioLipid Skin Science™
At the center of every formula is our BioLipid Skin Science™ method, derived from suet tallow, rendered and purified to bring tallow into a professional spa setting with modern precision and craftsmanship. These bio-identical lipids closely mirror the composition of human sebum, helping reinforce barrier function, reduce transepidermal water loss (TEWL), and support skin recovery without the artificial slip of silicone, oxidation-prone seed oils, or the risk of sensitization from essential oils—common triggers for congestion, breakouts, and irritation.
Our corneotherapy approach to skincare is especially suited for dry, sensitive, and compromised skin. Every formula is intentionally minimalist and fragrance-free to support skin that has become reactive from over-exfoliation, aggressive treatments, environmental stress, or long-term barrier disruption.
