They understand that avoiding cosmetics containing soap, denatured alcohol, fragrance, essential oils, parabens, phenoxyethanol, chemical sunscreens, and PFAS "forever" chemicals is wise. They also understand that while such ingredients are generally considered "safe" on intact skin barriers, these are easily absorbed by damaged skin, especially if applied long-term.
