Our founder, Zamidah, is a Texas-licensed esthetician and the chief research and development officer behind every formula. Her career began in Houston, where she integrated laser treatments with skincare products and holistic cosmetic procedures, specializing in barrier repair. With a background in cosmetic science and more than a decade of clinical aesthetics experience, she cultivated a deep understanding of skin health.

But her most powerful motivation came from living with psoriasis and a chronically compromised skin barrier. She found herself disheartened by products where brand name or packaging were glamorous, but the formulas were not grounded in true skin health. Unable to find a skincare line that met her standards, she decided to create the products she couldn’t find— formulations that honored the biology of the skin without unnecessary ingredients.

What began as a pursuit to soothe her own skin evolved into a refined skincare philosophy—one rooted in the principles of corneotherapy. Every bottle of Beleza by Z reflects generations of wisdom, modern alchemy, and a deep respect for skin anatomy.

Expertly crafted in small batches using suet-derived tallow—a byproduct of the beef industry—our formulas reflect our innovative nose-to-tail manufacturing approach, repurposing what would otherwise be waste into a luxurious skincare experience.
